The Grass Monkeys were originally set up the year 2000. Although back then they were known as the Munchers. These were terrible times, the munchers were CRAP!, loosing every match of night tennis that they played and only ever gaining points when the opposition forfeited. A total of two sets were won for the entire season. In 2001 They changed the name to Grass Monkeys and have never looked back, winning their first ever match, and look have found themselves off the bottom of the ladder for the first time.
